"Today is a special day"- naomi

Naomi runs up to me, "mom, guess what?, Today is a very special day". " I need make-up".

I really should be working instead of blogging. It's just one of those days where I can't seem to keep myself focused to get work done. Maybe it's the cabin fever!

Still snowing

More Snow!

This is my friend Theresa and her family. The pictures really help to see how much it was snowing in Flag today. We had scheduled to take family pictures and decided to just go for it and see what happens. My poor lens was completely covered in snow, but it was fun!

white wedding, a little too white!

I shot a wedding at a "cabin" (or castle) at Mormon Lake on Saturday night. BLIZZARD!! Everything ended up being indoors because it was pretty much a white-out that night. Jeff came to help this time- this might be his last wedding he comes to help with- no, he did a good job and he's free. He took this photo of me.

In Search of christmas card photo

I've made several attempts the past two months to get a family picture taken. For whatever reason- this seems to be the impossible task. Like forgetting tripod after trecking to the perfect location in the snow. Oh well, maybe next year. In the meantime- maybe we can get a few good ones of just Naomi. Here's the first attempt. (I do not tell her what to do except- "sit here".) Apparently, she does this quite well. I laughed!

Thanksgiving Trip

We met up with the whole extended family this year in Highland, Utah for Thanksgiving. Aunts, uncles, cousins, family we haven't seen in a very long time. We had so much fun!
We took a mini vacation and stopped along the way and stayed the night at the awesome Boulder Mountain Lodge near Escalante, UT- just north of Lake Powell, before meeting up with the family in Highland.

We ate at the famous Hells Backbone Grill!

Such a great place and tons of fun! We hiked - yes, Naomi hiked to Calf Creek Falls. I wish I had taken better pictures. It was so beautiful every where we looked.

Here's a few more photos from the trip.
